InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City
The InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City is a landmark super high-rise urban flagship hotel under the InterContinental Hotels Group, located at Chaotianmen Square, where the Yangtze River and Jialing River converge in Chongqing, and is considered a premier masterpiece among InterContinental hotels in Chongqing and across the country.
The urban complex where the hotel is situated—Chongqing Raffles City，was designed by the internationally renowned architect Moshe Safdie and his team. At the confluence of the two rivers in Chaotianmen, they have created a group of buildings resembling a "sailboat," consisting of eight skyscrapers. The shape of the buildings, akin to a "sailboat," carries a profound meaning and has become a new landmark in Chongqing.
